The Governors of Aston by Sutton Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our hard-working and passionate team.
The post will involve working alongside and supporting a child in the Reception class for 32.5 hours a week. The role requires a dedicated practitioner to work with a pupil who has social, communication and sensory needs.
The successful candidate will support learning alongside the class teacher and other experienced support staff each day. They will demonstrate the ability to work on their own initiative, be professional, friendly, have a good sense of humour and have the ability to work and communicate successfully as part of a team. They will also be a highly motivated individual who will ensure the best possible outcomes for the pupils they work with. The successful candidate will need to have a good knowledge of how children learn and possess good literacy and numeracy skills. Appropriate training will be offered to the successful candidate.
