The Bridge Short Stay School are looking to appoint an experienced MIS & Examinations officer to supporting the administrative functions of the school office where you will join a highly dedicated and friendly admin team. This post comes at an exciting time in the development of the school with plans well developed to move into a new school build in 2023.

The Bridge works with students who have been permanently excluded or who are without a school place. Rated as Good in all areas by OFSTED in May 2018 we are passionate about providing a second opportunity to students who have struggled in education previously. While this role doesn’t entail working directly with students it is important that all colleagues share our ethos and belief in the ability of young people to change and to grow.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and use of the Management Information System (Arbor) to implement the school timetable; support school improvement and data systems including responsibility for the planning and delivery of the school's exams ensuring JCQ and the awarding bodies regulations are adehered to. The post is 41 weeks per year and there will be an expectation for the candidate to work during GCSE exams results week.

A PRU environment is different to that of a mainstream school and provides different challenges. The ideal candidate will be highly organised and analytical with high levels of resilience and strong inter-personal skills.
