CMLD Teaching Assistant Grade 4 30 hours, 39 weeks a year (8.30-3.00). Temporary from September 2022 – August 2023
The Governors and senior leaders of Dee Point Primary School are excited about the opportunity to appoint an inspiring, creative and enthusiastic teaching assistant to support our pupils in CMLD resource provision. We are seeking to appoint someone who is able to demonstrate a clear understanding of SEND and has the skills to support the teacher and pupils allowing all of the pupils to fulfil and achieve their maximum potential.
Dee Point Primary school is a 2 form entry school with a 16 place CMLD resource provision, that caters for children with complex moderate learning difficulties with associated needs such as autism, communication difficulties and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. This role is in our Pandora resource provision class where there will be 10 children in September 2022. You will be part of an amazing and talented team comprising of the teacher and three other teaching assistants. Training around specialist areas of need will be provided. Ultimately we want someone who will give our children the care, nurture and love they deserve in order to help them achieve their personalised targets.
