The Governors are looking to appoint a permanent part-time Finance Bursar (AAAD5063) for this warm and friendly school in the heart of Nantwich. Good working knowledge of Local Authority IT systems, MS Word and Excel are desirable. The applicant should be able to monitor and review the school budget and advise the Headteacher and Governors on the strategic budgetary position. Applicants should be familiar with dealing with school budgets, school fund and accounting systems related to Financial Standards.
The Grade 6 (£22,571 to £24,920 pro rata, per annum) Finance Bursar involves working 18½ hours a week which includes half an hour unpaid lunch break. Working hours will be taken over two and a half days (Friday is essential and the other days are flexible).
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with all stakeholders in the school - children, staff, parents and Governors.
