Governors of our small, friendly school are looking to appoint a teaching assistant to work in our Early Years setting. The applicant should hold NVQ Level 2 Certificate in Childcare or equivalent.
The successful candidate will be educated to a good standard in English and Maths and able to challenge and motivate our pupils, as well as being passionate about engaging children in learning and overcoming barriers. They will provide support and scaffold pupils’ learning as appropriate, assisting them to increase their levels of independence.
As a school, we take the safety of our children very seriously and so all candidates will be required to provide current references which will be called upon and checked. The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check before taking up the appointment.
