The Governors and Head of School at Barnton Community Nursery and Primary School wish to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team. This position will be for 32.5 hours per week and is term time only.

We are looking for a friendly, caring and motivated person with plenty of energy who can join our hardworking team in supporting teaching and learning across our school.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have relevant experience of working with children,
  • Hold at least a level 3 qualification in childcare or teaching support,

  • Have good organisational and interpersonal skills,
  • Have flair, talent and initiative,
  • Demonstrate a commitment to raising standards,
  • Be able to work in close partnership with the whole school community.
