Role: Site Maintenance Officer
Location: Barnton Community Nursery and Primary School
Salary: Grade 5 SCP 11
FTE: £24,054 Actual Salary Pro-Rata: £22,428.73
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 34.5 hours per week, 52 weeks a year

The Governors and Head of School at Barnton Community Nursery and Primary School wish to appoint a Site Maintenance Officer to ensure efficient maintenance of the building and site. This position will be for 34.5 hours per week, 52 weeks a year.

We are looking for a friendly, motivated person with plenty of energy who can join our hardworking team in helping to maintain our high standards across our school environment.

The successful candidate will:
 Maintain and monitor the school grounds adhering to health and safety guidelines,
 Ensure the opening and closing of the building and ensuring satisfactory security arrangements,
 Order supplies and carry out maintenance, portering and cleaning duties,
 Discuss and monitor the work of contractors that are engaged with school to ensure high standards are met.
