Over Hall Community School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to a team who are committed in ensuring the children have access to a wide range of high quality experiences. The role is supporting the Class Teacher in a Key Stage1/2 class initially on a temporary basis 32.5 hours per week, part time would be considered depending on experience. Over Hall is a smaller than average, one form entry single academy supporting the progress and development of children from Reception to Year Six. The team work closely with a wide range of professionals to ensure children have the best opportunities. Criminal Convictions
All education establishments in the UK are exempted from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. In practice this means that all applicants must inform on all spent and unspent convictions on their application form and when completing a Disclosure and Barring form. Failure to provide this information may result in dismissal. List 99 is also obtained on anymore who will be working or coming into contact with children; and must be received by the school before employment can commence.
