The Governors of St Winefride’s Catholic Primary School seek to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated teaching assistant to support a child in Year 1 with permanent bilateral profound hearing loss. on a 1:1 basis. This post is for 15 hours (Monday- Friday).
We are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic and well organised teaching assistant with an understanding and experience of supporting a child’s needs, enabling them to reach their full potential. Good English and Maths skills are essential (GCSE Grade A* - C or equivalent to this) and an NVQ level 3 or equivalent teaching assistant qualification (or already working towards). The successful applicant will be part of a supportive team of teachers and teaching assistants.
