The governors at Acresfield Academy are looking to appoint an exceptional teaching assistant to join 
our school. This is a really exciting opportunity to join a dedicated, forward thinking team. 


The post is for 32.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday during term time. 


We are looking to appoint a member of staff to work with children in KS1. You will need to show an 
understanding of what helps children to thrive both academically and personally. You will need to 
show you are confident at working with the primary curriculum, to support children with their core 
skills, in reading, writing and maths. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate they can 
encourage children to develop in a nurturing and calm environment. 


The successful candidate will need to demonstrate they are a flexible, team player with excellent 
communication skills. You will be joining a hard working and highly successful staff team, who will 
provide you with appropriate support and challenge to enable you to develop yourself 
professionally. This is a great opportunity to join a successful school and provide our children with an 
excellent education.
