If you are an ambitious and enthusiastic IT expert, passionate about how technology can make a difference to children’s lives, then we have a truly exciting opportunity to join Rudheath Senior Academy as IT Technician. This fantastic opportunity is well suited to individuals that are looking to obtain hands on experience in a supportive workplace and to develop a career in ICT.

The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of both Windows and Apple systems, a competent understanding of networking and experience of using school management information systems, such as Arbor.

The technician will carry out maintenance and repairs, install & configure new ICT hardware & software across the Trust, assist with asset management, maintain an accurate inventory as well as basic server, network and communication installation and management.

This is an exciting time to join the North West Academies Trust as we embark on an extensive roll out of Apple 1-1 devices for all children and teachers. The successful candidate will work closely with the Trust’s IT department (Universal Technologies) to support the implementation of this project by offering technical expertise in the setup of the Apple devices and training for staff to ensure the classroom experience for the children is exceptional.
