Contract: Temporary Maternity Cover

The Trustees of Weaver Trust wish to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic class teacher who has the drive, vision, energy and commitment to join their hardworking and passionate team in February 2024.

We welcome applications from ECTs and more experienced teachers. The post will be to teach at Barnton Community Nursery and Primary School in Key Stage 1.

 Is an excellent classroom practitioner who values all children;
 Has knowledge and understanding of what constitutes excellent provision and outcomes for pupils;
 Has comprehensive knowledge of the curriculum;
 Demonstrates high expectations of individual achievement and behaviour;

 Has good organisational and interpersonal skills;
 Has flair, talent and initiative;
 Demonstrates a commitment to raising standards;
 Is able to work in close partnership with the whole Trust community.
