We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work for 2 days a week supporting a child in year 1 (as part of a job share with another part time colleage).

Contract Type:

2 days per week (Thursday/Friday). Temporary - Length of contract dependent on continued allocation of EHCP funding (please ignore any reference to duration in remainder of advert). Grade 4 SCP 5 – £23,500 (pro rata)

 Job Details:

To support the child with their individual needs, helping them to achieve the targets outlined in their EHCP. The role would suit someone who has experience supporting pupils with special educational needs and the candidate MUST be willing to provide personal care when required.

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant with:

This job description will set out the duties of the post at the time it was drawn up.  The post holder may be required from time to time to undertake other duties within the school as may be reasonable expected, without changing the general character of the duties or the level of responsibility entailed.  This is a common occurrence and would not justify a reconsideration of the grading of the post.
