This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher to permanently join Dorin Park School and Specialist SEN College.  We are looking for a qualified teacher with a passion for working with pupils with severe learning difficulties and complex needs. We would welcome applications from both Primary and Secondary trained teachers. This role will initially be in a mixed phase class, working with pupils from Year 5 to Year 9. Our pupils follow different curriculum pathways and a large number are taught using the EQUALS curriculum. Most pupils in KS4 & KS5 complete Entry Level qualifications.

If you are an inspirational teacher who can ignite engagement in SEND pupils, we can offer a welcoming and supportive environment with excellent professional development.

Dorin Park is a special school for pupils aged 2-19 with physical difficulties, complex medical needs and complex learning needs. We support learners with a range of cognitive abilities from moderate learning difficulties at our satellite provision at a local high school to profound and multiple learning difficulties, including pupils with ASC and sensory processing difficulties. Dorin Park is a friendly school with dedicated staff. We are ambitious for our pupils and the school is popular with parents – numbers in the school have grown rapidly in both Primary and Senior School.

In order to apply please submit a personal statement with your application detailing your skills, experience and interests in school development.
