Wharton C.E. Primary School is a happy, friendly school committed to inclusion and success for all. We have a vacancy for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant for a Year 3 child with Global developmental delay and speech & Language difficulties, and cognitive development needs. This vacancy would be to start as soon as possible. You will support the child throughout the day within the classroom environment to ensure greater accessibility to the curriculum. You may also be required to work with a small support group or as classroom support. Previous experience of working with children on a one-to-one basis would be advantageous but not essential. Candidates are advised that the school applies stringent vetting procedures. Appointments are subject to satisfactory DBS checks and reference.
