The Leadership Team and Governors at Darnhall Primary School are seeking to appoint inspirational, enthusiastic, and outstanding practitioners to join our team.

Vacancies have arisen due to several maternity leaves, relocation of one of our wonderful teachers and changing leadership teaching commitments:

• 2 full time teachers to cover maternity. These positions are temporary, until July 2026 or sooner depending on the post holders’ return.
• 2 full time teachers – permanent
• 1 part time 0.6 SEN teacher – temporary for 1 year to work in our Resource Provision. This role would ideally be 4 mornings and 1 full day on a Friday (a part time SEN allowance is negotiable for an experienced practitioner)

• sound knowledge of curriculum planning and delivery
• the ability to deliver exciting and engaging learning opportunities demonstrating a thorough knowledge of how young children learn and develop
• the ability to adapt learning to suit the needs of all learners
• effective behaviour management strategies 
• good organisation, time management and assessment strategies. 
• a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the curriculum
• commitment to meeting the individual needs of the children as members of the whole school community is essential.

Competent ECTs are welcome to apply and will be well supported.

Darnhall Primary School has a resourced provision for children with social, mental and emotional health needs. We are a split site school with a range of facilities and resources. Visits to the school are strongly encouraged.
