Midday Assistant - Term Time only, Monday to Friday 12.00-1.15, 6.25 per week, Grade 2

An opportunity has arisen for a Midday Assistant to join our friendly team.  We are looking for a warm, caring person with plenty of energy to join us in making lunchtimes safe, fun and happy for our children. 

This post is a Grade 2 SCP 2, working 6.25 hours per week for 38 weeks per year.  The pro rata salary is £3,361, with an hourly rate £12.26.

This role involves a certain amount of cleaning, overseeing children in the dining hall and ensuring safe playground play. 

The governors are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified midday assistant who:

• is highly responsible and motivated
• has ability to work as part of a team
• has high personal standards and high expectations of others
• has experience of working with children
