Cover Supervisor 12.5 -  31.25 (2 - 5 days) hours per week, 38 weeks per year.

Grade 5  - £26,403 - £28,142 – (will be pro-rata-ed depending on successful applicants availability)

Malbank School and Sixth Form College has a vacancy for a Cover Supervisor. This is a 2 - 5 days a week post – we are willing to be flexible for the right applicant with regards to the number of days they work but the days will be the same each week (Monday to Friday – 8.30am to 3.15pm). 

• We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic colleague to complement the teaching staff and to cover occasional short term absences within the school.
• With the guidance of teachers, the successful applicant will supervise classes in carrying out the work they have been set and assist and motivate students in their learning.
• You should be educated to at least GCSE Level, with a high level of literacy and numeracy skills.
• You need to be an excellent communicator, have sound organisational skills and be able to work confidently using your own initiative.
• While previous experience is not essential, the ability to motivate young people would be advantageous. The ideal candidate would have experience of working with young people either in a voluntary or employed capacity.
• Prior knowledge of SIMS is advantageous but not essential.
