The Governors at Hartford Manor Primary School & Nursery are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to join its outstanding team. The role may include one to one, small group and classroom support.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, dynamic and be passionate about working with children and have high expectations. You will need to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a dedicated, friendly and supportive team, thrive on new challenges and demonstrate a high level of initiative.

You will also contribute to the wider work of our classes/school and develop positive partnerships with the parents.

An understanding of safeguarding, data protection and confidentiality is essential. First aid training will also be beneficial - training can also be provided. The post will be subject to satisfactory references, an enhanced DBS check and a satisfactory probationary period.

This is a temporary contract until 31st August 2026 with a view to being made permanent. The working hours are 8.30am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday; 32.5 hrs a week. Term-time only, plus Inset days. Grade 5 £25,989.00 - 28,142.00 pro rata per annum.
