Role: Midday Assistant

Location: Halton Lodge Nursery & Primary School

Salary: Grade 2 SCP 2

Actual Salary Pro-Rata: £4,165 (FTE: £24,412)

Contract: Fixed Term until 31^st August 2026 in the first instance

Hours: 7.5 per week, lunchtimes (38 weeks per year, term time)

Start Date: Monday 19^th January 2026

The Headteacher and governors of Halton Lodge Nursery & Primary School would like to appoint a Midday Assistant to join our committed and enthusiastic team. This position is to commence Monday 19^th January 2026 and will be fixed term in the first instance.

As always, we are looking for a friendly, caring person with plenty of energy who can join our hardworking team in helping to make lunchtimes safe, fun and happy for our children.

The successful candidate will:

• Ensure the safety and well-being of pupils during lunchtime;
• Arrange and support age – appropriate activities during lunchtime, including indoor activities when the weather prevents children playing outside;
• Be responsible and motivated.
