We are a large community primary school situated in a town centre location.  

We would like to appoint a temporary part-time Midday Assistant to join our team of lunchtime staff. The position would suit a person interested in working with children to ensure the enjoyment and safety of pupils over the lunchtime period. You need to be someone who enjoys being with children, is happy being outside on brisk, wintry days and hot, sunny days. You are required to assist the children in getting their lunch, encourage them to eat their lunch and ensure that the school’s behaviour policy is applied effectively. In addition, the children would like you to be helpful, understanding, patient, caring and fun. The role may also require a first aid qualification to be undertaken.
