Teaching Assistant Support (Primary with Special Needs) – Temporary - 32 Hours per week 39 Weeks PA – Grade 4 The Berkeley Academy, Laidon Avenue, Wistaston, Crewe, CW2 6RU

The Governors at The Berkeley Academy would like to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support children in Early Years and interventions in all year groups to start as soon as possible.

We are looking for someone who is a positive and engaging individual, who will help provide our pupils with the support and flexibility of approach that is required. We would welcome someone with experience of working in other primary settings. However, key considerations are that we appoint a person who can:

  • Form strong relationships with individual children.
  • Have experience of Early Years is desirable but not essential.
  • Can ensure a calm and positive approach, have high expectations of learning and behaviour as well as inspire and motivate our children.
  • Be patient, supportive, nurturing and understanding.
  • As well as being able to develop strong relationships and communicate well with parents, carers and members of staff and someone who brings with them a good sense of humour!
