The headteacher and governors of Tattenhall Park Primary School wish to appoint an admin assistant to join our warm, family orientated village school. 

The candidate will be excited by the challenges and opportunities our expanding school provides; have sound working knowledge of school policies and procedures including admissions, transfer processes to ensure compliance with regulations. The candidate will be welcoming and approachable- being the first point of contact for our school and able to deal with all enquiries in a sensitive efficient manner.

They will work closely with the Head Teacher, School Business Manager and staff to facilitate effective communication, coordinate arrangements for visits and preparing the school newsletter. In return, the school will offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere, well-resourced facilities, great team spirit from staff and pupils, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Duties will include: Maintaining efficient administrative and financial computer systems; maintaining pupil records and ensuring that the school communication system is efficient and effective.

Applicants should have experience in a similar role and may currently be working in another school. A working knowledge and understanding of financial and record keeping systems, office procedures, filing, organisational and communication skills are essential for this role. Knowledge of Arbor would be an advantage.

Although this is advertised as a temporary position there is opportunity to extend this.
