Wraparound Care Club Play Worker required for Ashton Owls Club

Grade 3 SCP2 – £12.26 per hour


We are excited to offer a number of fantastic opportunities for warm, caring, and enthusiastic individuals to join our lovely team at Ashton Hayes Primary School, supporting children in our wraparound care provision: Ashton Owls Club. The role is offered on a casual basis, to cover any staff absences of days when the after-school club has additional children booked in.

We are particularly in interested candidates who can offer availability between 3pm and 6pm on any school days during the school term.

We are looking for a team player who is passionate about working with children and brings energy, creativity, and commitment to their role. Ashton Owls provides breakfast and after school care during term time, offering a safe, nurturing environment where children can relax, play, and enjoy their time before and after the school day.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, enabling you to build positive relationships with children, parents, colleagues, and the wider school community. A flexible, reliable approach and a genuine interest in supporting children's wellbeing and development are key qualities for this role.
