Description

The Governors of Frodsham CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a Site Maintenance Officer to join our hard working and enthusiastic team. We are looking for someone who will care about our school as much as we do, who will take pride in maintaining and improving the school building and grounds to the highest standard.

The successful candidate will need a range of skills to ensure the efficient maintenance and cleanliness of our learning environment. The role will include maintaining standards of health and safety including statutory duties; carrying out minor repairs and general maintenance; decorating; use of specialist cleaning equipment; liaising with contractors; ordering supplies and security of the site including key holder. The working hours are 27.5 hours per week, requiring a split shift of 7.30-9.30am and 2.45-6.15pm.

Our lovely school building is a mixture of original buildings and more recent extensions. Our extensive school grounds are beautiful and include a large playing field, woodland area, a pond and planting areas. The post holder will be working alongside wonderful children, dedicated staff and supportive governors and parents within a fantastic local community. Ideally, we would like the successful candidate to start from the 6th of June or as soon after.

If you would like to come and see for yourself how great our school is and find out further information about the role, then please phone the school office to arrange a visit; we would be delighted to show you around.

Our school community places the highest priority on keeping our children safe. Applicants for all posts will be subject to stringent vetting and induction processes. The holder of this post will be required to work with children under the age of 18 in a position of trust, and is, therefore, exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The successful candidate will be subject to the relevant checks and enhanced DBS and will be required to complete a Declaration of Disqualification form.
