Role: Welfare Assistant

Location: Comberbach Nursery & Primary School

Grade: Grade 3, Scale Point 3-4

Actual Salary: £18,816 to £19,111     

Hours: 32.5 per week // 5 days per week // 39 weeks per year         

Contract type: Fixed Term 1 year.

Prior to the start of the new academic year, the Governors and Headteacher at Comberbach Nursery & Primary School wish to appoint a skilled and committed Welfare Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate should have:

• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare,
• Experience in Early Years is desirable,
• Demonstrate high expectations of individual achievement and behaviour,
• Be creative, calm, caring and enthusiastic,
• Have good organisational and interpersonal skills,
• Have flair, talent and initiative,
• Demonstrate a commitment to raising standards.
• Be able to work in close partnership with the whole school community.
