Counsellor for Learners

The Counsellor will provide a counselling service for our 11-18 year old Learners with the purpose of creating a relationship of trust with young people, enabling confidential dialogue to aid emotional independence, resilience, and mental wellbeing.

With the motivation to develop innovative responses to changing mental health needs and provide quality information, advice, support and signposting where appropriate.

Applicants must have a recognised qualification in counselling, and be accredited, or working towards accreditation, by the BACP, UKCP, or an equivalent body.

Experience of working with young people is essential.

This is a temporary role in the first instance until 31 August 2024 and will be reviewed to determine the impact and effectiveness.
